Dallas/Fort Worth Opens with the Cowboys Division Championship!

Merchants Bonding Company is proud to announce the official opening of the Dallas/Fort Worth office and usher it in at the Cowboys vs. Eagles Conference Championship game on Sunday January 3, 2010. "We invited a select group of our agents; agents we've been working with closely to focus more attention on the area, to kick off this expansion." said Therese Wielage, V.P. of Marketing. "We just got lucky that it was a blowout game clinching the title for the Cowboys that made it really fun for the attendees!" 

Merchants announced in July of 2009 expansion plans for 2010 and they are all underway. Two new production teams were created to handle the growth with the same quality service Merchants is known for. Merchants' expansion includes: 

1. Adding two new Assistant Vice Presidents of Underwriting with corresponding territories.
2. Adding four new underwriting positions.
3. Adding an annex to our coroporate headquarters in Des Moines, IA (See article on Merchants Building).
4. Opening the new Dallas-Fort Worth Contract Surety Office.

The new office is located in Dallas and is led by Senior Underwriter Aaron Raschke. "I'm very excited to begin working closely with all of our agents in the metroplex and make 2010 a great year!" said Raschke.
