Ed, a graduate of Iowa State University, began his surety career with USF&G in 1988. Prior to that he worked with Old Republic Surety as the Iowa Nebraska Senior Field Underwriter and in the Des Moines regional office of The Insco Dico Group as a Senior Surety Underwriter in a 12-state territory. Ed served as President of the Surety Underwriters Association of Iowa in 1999 and has obtained his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Fidelity an Surety Bonding designations.
