Merchants Team Approach

Our underwriting teams combine the knowledge and experience of a group of underwriters.  Merchants' teams have a deep understanding of surety and the people who use it.  Merchants' agents benefit from the innovative ideas, the quality decision-making, superior underwriting and fast service that come with the team approach.

Led by: Tim Foreman

Assistant Vice President Contract Underwriting

States:  CO, FL, IA, MD, ME,MN, ND, NH, VT,WV

Tim is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, with a BA in Business Management. Prior to joining Merchants in 2007, he held a retail management position for several years, then changed careers to insurance and bonds. Tim previously worked for IMT Insurance Company and most recently Allied Insurance Company, where he managed an eight-state region for contract surety.
