Established in 2025, the Merchants Bonding Company Foundation Memorial Grant reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting communities where our associates live and work. Every other year, the grant will provide one-time funding to a selected charity of choice—an organization whose mission aligns with the Foundation's pillars of giving:
In collaboration with our agent partners, associates, and community supporters, we raise funds to create a lasting impact. The Memorial Grant furthers the Merchants Bonding Foundation's mission to provide support to non-profit organizations to improve our communities, and enrich the lives of children in the communities we serve.
Our 2025 charity of choice is Children's Cancer Connection, an Iowa nonprofit dedicated to serving children and families affected by childhood cancer. This year's Memorial Grant will support their free summer camps program — Camp Heart Connection — where kids can experience a sense of normalcy and community in a safe, supportive environment.
These camps are more than just a summer getaway—they are inclusive spaces where kids affected by cancer can feel seen and are free to just be themselves. Whether it's a child in active treatment or a sibling coping with the emotional impact, each camper is welcomed into a supportive community where shared experience creates instant connection.
