Children First in 2025 Giving
September 9, 2025
With a nearly singular focus on helping children, Merchants Bonding Company Foundation just completed its second cycle of giving for 2025. The funding helps fulfill a wide range of needs for a variety of organizations.
One of this cycle’s grants will assist in the purchase of a Giraffe Bed for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Blank Children’s Hospital. The bed is one of the most advanced tools available for treating vulnerable infants, so they can not only survive – but thrive. The Foundation was also able to respond to a special request from Make-A-Wish as they work to fulfill increasing demand.
Other giving highlights include:
-
Support for STEM programs for underrepresented young women in 4th to 12th grades
-
Furnishing three new classrooms with the necessary equipment for therapies and services in the Autism Day program
-
Stocking healthy ready-to-eat snacks in school-based food pantries
-
Equipping student leaders with program materials and supplies for the Best Buddies program which offers one-to-one friendship, employment, and leadership development for individuals with and without disabilities
-
Educating families receiving a Down Syndrome diagnosis
Grants were also made in support of the priorities of our associates and agent partners, a very important focus area in the Foundation’s distribution of giving. Donations were made to a variety of organizations including ASAP (After School Arts Program), Above & Beyond Cancer, and Bras for the Cause.
Created to foster a culture of giving back, the Merchants Foundation is proud to provide support to the communities where our associates and partners work and live.
