Hawthorn Hill Selected as 2022 Focus Charity

Merchants Bonding Company Foundation is pleased to announce Hawthorn Hill as Merchants’ 2022 charity beneficiary. Hawthorn Hill’s mission is to establish and operate housing programs for homeless families with children that help them obtain permanent housing and achieve economic self-sufficiency.

“We are very excited to partner with Hawthorn Hill and be a part of ending homelessness for families with children,” said CMO and Vice President of the Foundation Therese Wielage. “It is urgent work and we are not just happy we are anxious to lend a hand.”

Since its inception in 2008, the Merchants Bonding Company Foundation has distributed nearly $2 million to non-profit, charitable organizations. Past beneficiaries include AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport, Can Play, Food Bank of Iowa and more.
