The Merchants Foundation Supports EveryStep

The Merchants Bonding Company Foundation is proud to announce our focus charity for 2023, EveryStep Care and Support Services. Through its more than 30 programs and services, EveryStep helps their clients and families navigate challenges from birth through end of life. From those deserving services, the Merchants Foundation selected EveryStep’s Nest programs as the recipient of our fundraising across the upcoming year. The Nest programs provide critical items for new moms and babies like cribs, car-seats, formula, and diapers, necessities that can often be out of reach for struggling families. The purpose of these programs closely aligns with the Foundation’s mission of enriching the lives of the children in the communities we serve.
A history of giving
Merchants’ Foundation was formed in 2008 in celebration of our 75th anniversary. Now, as we begin the year-long celebration of our 90th anniversary, we’re very proud of the millions of dollars we’ve contributed across the following categories: Arts & Culture, Children & Education, Community Betterment, and Medical & Research. And the Foundation’s reach is extended even further through our matching program for associates and agents, increasing the impact of their gifts to personally meaningful causes. In 2022, 144 different entities benefited from the Foundation’s donations which totaled $231,030. Included was our focus charity, Hawthorn Hill, dedicated to helping families transition out of homelessness
Celebrate with us
We look forward to the upcoming year, and the fundraising opportunities it affords. 2023 will be significant as we mark a milestone for Merchants Bonding Company, our 90th anniversary, and it's also a year we host our signature biennial fundraising event, the Bill Warner Sr. Memorial Charity Golf Classic.
