Merchants Receives RISE Elite 50 Internship Award

Merchants Bonding Company’s internship program has been recognized as one of the best in the insurance industry according to Rising Insurance Star Executive (RISE). Merchants was named a 2021 RISE Elite 50 Internship award winner, an annual program that publishes 50 of the best insurance internship programs in the U.S.

“Merchants’ internship program combines performing business-impacting work in the student’s field of study with young professional networking and life skills development,” says Human Resource Manager Kate Kreis-Claflin.

The program offers robust learning and engagement opportunities that prepare students for the transition from college to career in a fun, fast-paced, supportive environment.

“Merchants did a great job of keeping us connected,” says past Claims and Compliance Intern Nicole Votroubek. “There was some sort of connection with someone every day and everyone was great and welcomed questions no matter what the subject.”
