Merchants Supports Inclusive Play

August 7, 2025 Starting today, everyone can play on the new Variety Star Inclusive Playground, which was officially unveiled during the 2025 Iowa State Fair Opening Ceremony. This thoughtfully designed playground is, in part, made possible by the Merchants Bonding Company Foundation’s $5,000 donation. The agricultural-themed playground for kids of all abilities features accessible ramps, smooth surfacing, and all the bells and whistles. Not only will this playground impact over 1 million Iowa State Fair visitors, but will be accessible year-round for daycares, school groups, and community gatherings.

The gift reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to provide support to non-profit organizations to improve our communities, and enrich the lives of children in the communities we serve.
