Merchants Welcomes 2021 Summer Interns

For the next 10 weeks Merchants Bonding Company will host eight summer interns in West Des Moines, Iowa; Seattle, Washington and Austin, Texas.

“Merchants’ summer internship program offers students opportunities to connect with industry professionals, learn valuable life skills, and tackle hands-on impactful projects,” says Human Resource Manager Kate Kreis-Claflin. “After successfully adapting to a virtual program in summer of 2020, we’re excited to provide the students a full, in-person experience for summer 2021.” 

Merchants’ internship program exposes students to a variety of opportunities within their field of study while learning about the surety industry. Panel discussions, social events, team-building activities and department projects are just a few ways they’ll collaborate throughout the summer.
