Seven Merchants Interns Earn SFAA Scholarships

Seven summer interns from Merchants Bonding Company™ earned $2,500 scholarships through the Surety & Fidelity Association of America (SFAA) Foundation’s Surety & Fidelity Intern and Scholarship Program. With just 31 scholarships awarded nationwide, Merchants' interns accounted for nearly a quarter of this year's recipients, a reflection of the strength and reach of the nationally recognized internship program.

These scholarships reflect the impact of Merchants’ internship experience, which equips students with industry knowledge, professional development, and valuable career exposure. Many former interns have continued to build successful careers in surety, contributing to a rapidly evolving industry.

Established in 2003, the SFAA Foundation’s program encourages college students to explore careers in the surety industry. Merchants’ interns have consistently earned recognition through this initiative, demonstrating the company’s long-standing commitment to talent development and industry innovation.
