They Did It, Again!

Merchants Bonding Company is proud to announce that three of our talented summer interns each earned a $5,000 scholarship through the SFAA’s Surety and Fidelity Intern and Scholarship program. Launched in 2003, the program “helps increase diversity within the surety and fidelity industry by attracting underrepresented students into the field.”

Merchants’ President Larry Taylor serves as the President of the SFAA Foundation which oversees the scholarship program along with other intern, mentoring and training programs. “Each year we are impressed by our scholarship recipients’ level of professionalism as interns and their academic accomplishments, and this year is no exception.” said Taylor, “We look forward to seeing these talented individuals pursue surety and fidelity as a career upon their graduation.”

This is the third year in a row that participants in Merchants’ award-winning internship program have earned SFAA scholarships. Merchants is proud to be a long-time supporter of the SFAA Foundation and believes that all efforts to create a diverse and inclusive workforce and workplace will contribute to innovation, growth, and excellence across the industry.
